Writing a decent affiliate management application takes good skills in programming and a lot of testing. There are many areas to cover in design and programming such as signup module, tracking module, integeration with shopping cart, reporting & notifications etc. Depending on your skillset you can search for relavent coding and design sites related to "tracking scripts'. As our skill set is mostly Microsoft based we use sites like 4guysfromrolla.com which is an excellent resource for ASP, ASP .NET, VB & SQL Server.
