Affiliate scheme with google analytics

I'm considering implementing an affiliate scheme for my site. I wanted to run it by you guys first to see if it seems resonable.

Here are my requirements

1. I'd like the incoming links to count as quality backlinks, therefore the links should be clean i.e. http://www.mysite.com not http://www.mysite.com?id=243234

2. I'd like to control where affiliate links are posted i.e. no spamming

Here is my intended solution

I'm currently running google anlytics to track website traffic, I'd like affiliates to register a domain that they own that will contains links to my site.

Each month I'll run a report from google analytics and pay thoses affiliates whoses referrals have generated sales.

It shouldn't be too difficult to automate this.

Benefits to the Affiliate

1. A third party is tracking sales.

2. The outgoing links are clean and don't look like affiliate links.

Does this sound like a reasonable way to handle affiliates ?
