Affiliate Programs stink--or is that AdSense?
I've been told by some that Affiliate Programs don't make any money and to stick with AdSense. Others say that Affiliate Programs are the only way to make real money on the internet.
I have more experience with AdSense than affiliate programs, so I wanted to get your opinions about which is true and which is not--if either. Thanks! |

I think that WHO is running the site and HOW they are doing it has a heavy weight on the results.
Placement of advertising on the page can make a 10x jump in performance. Presentation style can make a 10x difference, and description can make a 10x difference, combined with another 10x difference related to price, and 10x related to relevance of the product to your page content. I experiment with all of these variables and KEEP GOOD RECORDS to maximize. Some fields are more fertile than others but what you put into it can have an enormous impact. Bottom line... if you want to improve you must change how you are doing things... continuously.
