Affiliate Marketing for Link Campaign
I've had some success with an custom affiliate program to create backlinks.
Has anybody figured out an easy way to generate affiliate links that aren't flagged as affiliate/bought links?
Currently, the links that are generated have a tracking ID like"<URL>?=1235". I'd say that around 25% of the links are being indexed by google. The initial version of the affiliate program used "<URL>?aff=1235" but I found that none of the links were being indexed.
I'd like to try using a URL rewrite and some natural language for the links, using keywords for the tracking code. For example:
"<URL>\keyword1\"
"keyword1" would be identified as belonging to an affiliate, and that link would be tracked by the affiliate.
Now, I'm curious about two things. Would Google index this link as a natural link, and would a publisher be concerned about this format?
