AdSense Ban. Can colleague advertise?

Hi,

I was recently banned from AdSense. I'm sure it has been shown 1000s of times... "After receiving your response, we re-reviewed your account data thoroughly. We have reconfirmed that invalid clicks were generated on the ads on your site in violation of our Terms and Conditions and programme policies."

As 1000s of times before, they show no proof. My logs don't suggest anything wrong and in the 3 months it's been up, average $0.50 a day with an increase in past month due to festival season starting.

Anyway - impossible to get re-instated I guess so won't even start!

Anyway, a friend at the other end of the country has a similar site for the same thing, just in a different location. He has got AdSense for his site without a problem and has been running for a few days now.

My question (finally) - can he show his ads on my site without getting into trouble with Google (using the same code)? Would he have to own the site? Nothing will be in my name any longer - he would get the money.

Thanks.

If I was him, I would not do it.

I thought so but can't see anywhere that it says he would be banned.

Can anyone please clarify,

EGOL - thanks.

Bummer

There is a difference to a ban on an account and a ban on a website.

What if I were to sell the site to someone totally unrelated to me in anyway. Would it be fair on them that they could not use AdSense on the site?

I think not.

Would really need some evidence or proof that this is bad practice.

Thanks!

I doubt if you will share my or any of the posters advice to your friend.

Technically he can run ads on any site using his account. On the forum here we have had many people post that they have been banned stating that they did nothing wrong. So far 100% of all Google banned people are innocent... including you.

I, and the posters above, are afraid for your friend and his account with Google if he starts letting his "innocent" friends use his Adsense accout.

Please tell him that everyone says he should not do it. Will you tell him that?

In my experience as long as the person is not related to you and theres no connection between the two of you that google knows about then there is no problem, i have successfully managed to use sites with someone elses adsens account on them after i was banned

and to break the 100% innocent thing well i wasnt i was semi innocent lol i did click a few of my own links beofre i read that i wasnt allowed to but fair enough i broke the rules lol

I will pass that message on - I was on for 3 months, $0.50 a day I received. Offered Google my logs to look through. I could not have clicked them myself as my hosts file redirects all (well - nearly all) ads/spam/malware away.

Google - maybe they'll learn not everyone is a conman, but being the corporate giant they are, I doubt it.
