I originally posted this accidnetally in a Google thread by accident as I'm new here. This post really belongs in this category (sorry).
Does anybody know if Addweb Pro is worth the investment? I had addweb 4 for a while on my computer, but I found that it just wasn't worth keeping up with the upgrades every year. They used to have the ffa submission which got dropped soon after I initially registered. They now have a link trading tool that manages weblinks. They cleverly included a link back to their own page where thousands of users post their link pages using XML. It seems to me that cyberspacehq.com is the only one benefiting from the arrangement so I have since dropped this tool. zoidsoft |

OMG! This thing costs 300! Hey, for $200 I'll do the same things this program does, and with much better results, dude.

It looks like the price went up. I only paid $150 for it.

Addweb has allot of useless (and old) bells and wistles. Their selling phrase stating that you can submit to over 800,000 search engines should actually say "submit to 15 search engines and directories and 799,985 spam sites" This tool is not worth paying 1 dime for. Steer clear!

Unfortunately it's a little too late for me, but I'm not using it anymore.

Personally, I think you'll have better results if you take the time to do the grunt work yourself. I realize it's very time consuming, so if you have the time, I would recommend it. If not, I would find a trustworthy person to handle it for you.

Is AddWeb better than WebCEO?
What advantages does Addweb 7 have over WebCEO? I bought WebCEO recently at a good price, thanks to this forum. And I'm wondering: maybe I'd better have paid for Addweb? WebCEO has money back guarantee, so I still can change my mind and buy something else. Can you help me?

I've been using Internet Business Promoter for some time and it is a good tool. But submitting and optimising only doesnt work now, so i'm mostly now concentrated on improving link popularity. Major search engines are crawling my site without submitting also, so i don't bother much submitting.

New version of AddWeb
I know this thread is old but I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
Have you guys used the latest version of AddWeb? It's on v8.5 now. Reading earlier posts about submissions, I think a lot of people have the misconception that submission is the way to go. Even back then submissions wasnt the ideal way. It's especially not the preferred method for promotion nowadays. Nowadays webmasters need to concentrate on content over submission. Most people neglect the content thinking that a great looking site would be best. I've had great results with AddWeb v8, but I dont submit. I use LinkTrader to get a few trades with highly relevant sites and I get top placements on search engines for my site. I use LinkTrader to get the spiders to my site rather than Link Popularity. Seems to work for me. Scott |

Please start a new thread and reference the old if necessary. Thanks.
